Peter Charles, Lake Tahoe based singer-songwriter and bandleader has an expanding list of musical accomplishments to his credit. He is a music graduate of U. C. Berkeley, has recorded with RCA records and has done concert and nightclub work throughout the U.S., Canada, and Europe. Peter has worked as a performing artist with the Monterey Symphony Orchestra, Reno Chamber Orchestra, the "Coasters", Neil Young's band "Crazy Horse", and his own popular dance band the "Pete Charles Band". He has also performed on stage with Steve Miller, Mickey Hart, Bob Weir, John Handy, James Taylor and Joan Baez. He has been successfully leading his band, at private engagements and nightclubs throughout Lake Tahoe and the San Francisco Bay Area. The group performs a wide variety of material which is one of the many reasons for the bands immense popularity. |
